DATE(S) VISITED
A selection of 70 photographs (out of 212) taken on my visit to Bangkok area of Thailand. Unusually I travelled with others - a group of Leeds United fans. I organised this trip for a number of fellow fans who wanted to travel to Australia to watch a couple of pre-season games in Perth and Sydney - but we had several stopovers between the UK and Australia. Please note that the photographs are as originally taken and not enhanced by any means. I did not produce a blog whilst in Thailand.
My thoughts: Bangkok is a busy, noisy, vibrant city - combining both asian and western cultures and well worth a visit. I have several albums of pictures (with blogs) on this site. A selection of 15 photographs (out of 21) taken on my short visit to Bangkok en route to Myanmar. Please note that the photographs are as originally taken and not enhanced by any means. I hope you will read my blog of my travels and experiences - and these pictures can be used in conjunction with the relevant part (08 May) of the blog.
My thoughts: A fantastic city of hustle and bustle and sights galore. You can see many more pictures of Thailand in other Thailand albums on this web site. A selection of 200 photographs (out of 621) taken on my travels in Thailand. The pictures are centred on Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai and the capital - Bangkok. The pictures show both the cities and the the elephant sanctuary I visited. Please note that the photographs are as originally taken and not enhanced by any means. I hope you will read my blog of my travels and experiences - and these pictures can be used in conjunction with the relevant part (20 - 28 Mar) of the blog.
My thoughts: Thailand has lots to offer the tourist. Travelling around the country there is so much to see and places to visit (especially temples!) [Please click on the thumbnail images to enlarge. Some maybe little blurred due to rushing the shot - or taking through a travelling bus window etc]

A selection of 170 photographs from my visit to Thailand staying in Bangkok and Chiang Mai - but also visiting a number of places in those areas. I hope you will read my blog of this visit - which gives some indication of the experiences that can enjoyed through travel - and these pictures can be used in conjunction with the relevant parts (16-22 and 28 March) of the blog.
My thoughts: It is not surprising Thailand is so popular as a tourist destination. Bangkok is an amazing city!

A selection of 8 (out of 22) photographs taken on two short overnight stops in Thailand. Please note that the photographs are as originally taken and not enhanced by any means. I did not produce a blog on this trip.
My thoughts: Although I only stayed near the airport on two occasions - using it as a hub for travelling elsewhere - I always enjoy Thailand (although my other Thailand albums will show the real place!) A selection of 70 photographs (out of 182) taken on my travels in Thailand. The pictures are taken in Pattaya and the capital Bangkok. Please note that the photographs are as originally taken and not enhanced by any means. I did not produce a blog on this trip.
My thoughts: Pattaya was certainly not a family type destination - whilst Bangkok had plenty to offer for sightseeing and experiencing one of the worlds busiest cities.
