2006 SEPTEMBER

A selection of 100 photographs (out of 355) taken on my visit to Sri Lanka. My visit was around 9 months after it was hit by the tsunami - and some pictures reflect the damage done - especially the worlds worst rail disaster atHikkaduwa. My trip included visits to Colombo, Kandy, Galle (amongst others). Please note that the photographs are as originally taken and not enhanced by any means. I did not produce a blog on this trip.

My thoughts: A very varied trip. Some great highlights but also some very sobering moments.
