My thoughts: The scenery around the mountains of Queenstown and Milford Sound on South Island was among the best I have seen anywhere in the world - with the snow just adding to the beauty. Although I was disappointed with Christchurch, Wellington impressed me greatly. Oh... and whilst it was winter, the weather was beautiful - if chilly!
