I travelled to Georgia and through several other countries to Kazakhstan to visit a young man who I met in China a few years previous.

2013 March

My travels to Thailand - where I stroked live Tigers in a cage - and Cambodia, meeting up again with a young guy who has a very different lifestyle in Cambodia.

2013 May

My travels to Florida to meet up and enjoy a more 'normal' time with a close friend and his family. Then onwards - covering some of the Caribbean countries.

Followed me and friends travelling through Slovenia to watch Leeds United.

My travels through Moldova, Romania, Serbia, Kosovo and Macedonia - and one or two adventures along the way!

My travels through Belgium and Luxembourg - then on to San Marino and Italy.

My travels to Cambodia and meeting up with my Cambodian friend again - and a brief stop in Guangzhou (China).

I visited Lebanon - where my travels took me to Beirut, Biblos, Sidon and Baalbek - and I experienced some of the concerns the Lebanese people faced daily.

My travels took me through the Alps - sampling some amazing scenery - and snow!

My travels took me from Vilnius in Lithuania to Minsk in Belarus using an ice hockey ticket as a Visa!

My travels took me to Mongolia, North Korea (Yes!) South Korea, Cambodia again - and short visits to Thailand and China. Made for an interesting journey!

My travels took me to Swaziland, Mozambique, Lesotho and South Africa. An interesting - if not the easiest - trip.

My travels took me to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine and meeting up with my Kazakh friend Ansagan.

Travels with friends following Leeds United in their pre-season games and visiting Germany, Austria, Slovakia and Norway in the process.

2015 August

My travels to Venezuela, Aruba, Suriname, French Guiana, Guyana, Barbados, Granada and Trinidad. Some very non-tourist (and not very safe) areas visited.

2015 October

After a short stop in Portugal, I travelled to West Africa to visit Senegal, Gambia and Cape Verde.

2015 November

Back to Cambodia to see my 'family' and to enjoy the country again - my 10th visit

2016 March

After a short stop in Spain, I travelled on to Ecuador, Uruguay, Argentina and Brazil.

2016 May

Another visit to Cambodia to see my 'family'.

2016 June

An amazing journey covering Chile, Bolivia and Peru. The scenery was breathtaking in all three countries and completing the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu was the icing on the cake.

2016 August

My travels through some of the Balkans - taking in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania and Greece (Corfu). Some good scenery and enjoyable experiences.

2016 October

My travels that involved short stops in US (New York and Atlanta) also through Domican Republic and Haiti where a huge and destructive hurricane had taken its toll - before finally travelling to Mexico to see the only 'Wonder of the World' I had not previously visited.

2016 November

Another trip to see my 'family' in Cambodia with a couple of short visits to China (Beijing) en route.

2017 March

Travels to Thailand - visiting Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai and Bangkok - before onward travels to UAE (Dubai). Top destinations.

2017 May

Back to South East Asia – a return visit to Vietnam, onwards to visit my 'family’ again in Cambodia – ending with a short stop in Guangzhou in China.

2017 June

My travels taking me to the Caribbean – visiting the remaining official countries there that I had not previously visited. Enjoyable travels through a lovely and interesting area.

2017 July

Travelling to watch Leeds United play a couple of friendly games took me to Munich in Germany and then western Austria where I loved the tremendous scenery.

2017 August

A short break revisiting some European countries. Visiting Warsaw and Krakow in Poland and continuing through Slovakia to Budapest (Hungary) where I last visited in 1974 when a very communist state. Finished off with a day in Eindhoven (Netherlands) on my way home.

2017 October

My travels took me to a couple of new countries - the beautiful islands of Seychelles and Mauritius. Top places to visit.

2017 November

My usual November trip to see my 'family' in Cambodia.

2018 March

Escaped Arctic conditions in Yorkshire and after a brief stopover in UAE headed for Cambodia again.

2018 May

After a short stop in Thailand I continued to Myanmar to follow Leeds United - where they controversially played two games.

2018 June

One of my more adventurous trips visiting Indonesia, New Zealand, Tonga, Samoa, Tuvalu, Fiji, Vanuatu, Australia, Malaysia and Cambodia. An excellent trip covering some wonderful places.

2018 September

My travels involved short spells in Kenya and Botswana with more extended travels through Zimbabwe and Zambia - including Victoria Falls.
